The GICC may be the nation's most accessible convention center.

Connected to a major airport by the ATL SkyTrain, it is just as convenient by car — at the juncture of two major U.S. interstates. The heart of Atlanta is 10 minutes away by rental car or MARTA train. And the airport's Rental Car Center links to the GICC by the ATL SkyTrain automated people mover .

ATL SkyTrain

Unbelievably Convenient Link to the Airport

The ATL SkyTrain gives the GICC a convenience unique among convention centers: guests can land at the airport, take a free ride to the GICC, and be there in a matter of a few minutes. The GICC station is the first stop along the ATL SkyTrain, transporting passengers from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The second and final stop is the new airport Rental Car Center (RCC).

Rental Car Center

Our Next-Door Convenience

Home to all airport rental car companies and activities, the new Rental Car Center (RCC) is linked to the GICC via the ATL SkyTrain. Departing from the airport terminal, the ATL SkyTrain travels along a 1.6-mile elevated guideway. First stop: the GICC in just two minutes. Second and final stop: the RCC, only five minutes from the airport. Air travelers enjoy a free and easy connection to their rental cars and the GICC, avoiding the inconveniences associated with ground transportation and rental agency shuttle buses.
